OpenJewelry

I was disappointed by the lack of an appropriate online venue on which to share my jewelry designs, so I made my own.

OpenJewelry is a Django-powered website that lets users upload and share their wearable art for others to enjoy. The platform itself is fully open-source, with all code hosted in a GitHub repo. The platform lets a user register, post their own creations, and “like” others’ posts. Visitors to the site do not need to be registered to download files associated with a piece. Additionally, the website includes a wiki, intended to be a repository of any jewelry-related knowledge, including tools, techniques, and materials.

While the website is still very much a work-in-progress, it’s been launched online, along with a companion Discord server. Go and check it out! I’m looking forward to seeing some of your work posted there.
